Welcome to my September Campaign! It’s all about… CONFIDENCE.

So much more than just a word. It’s a feeling. It’s a push and a pull. It’s a way of life. Something that ebbs and flows. Something that we all seek, and something that we all want more of.

In the dictionary, confidence is described as a feeling or consciousness of one’s powers or belief that one will act in a right, proper, or effective way.

If you ask people their own definition of confidence, I bet you’ll get a unique each time. It’s because to embody confidence is to embody different things for each individual. Yet there is this common goal that unites most of the population… to feel more of it.

I am so excited to announce the launch of my new campaign for September, BACK TO CONFIDENCE. This month, with your help, I’ll be focusing on confidence and how to define it, how to get more of it, ways to explore it, and how to celebrate it.

The back bone of this campaign will be weekly challenges that involve you. The goal is to get out there to do, experience, and create different things that get us out of our comfort zones. I want you guys to get a little vulnerable. Let’s lean into things that make us uncomfortable because ultimately is, that the best way to grow.

KICK OFF: Confidence Definition

Idea: Feature all the different ways that people define confidence

 

Confidence Challenge #1: GET OUT OF YOUR HEAD AND DANCE

Idea: Sometimes we take ourselves so seriously and think we have to be perfect at everything, but we can gain confidence by letting go and being silly. If you guys are familiar with my Daily Dance videos, this is exactly what YOU will be doing!

 

Confidence Challenge #2: CONFIDENCE THROUGH EXPERIENCE

Idea: It’s easy to stay within your comfort zone. But the comfort zone is a dangerous place to live. Trying new things is a way to build character and confidence. Get out there and trying something new, for example: new workout class, eating out a restaurant alone, asking a coworker you’d like to get to know better to coffee, going to meet up alone, pick up a new hobby, make a new dish for dinner, check out an art exhibit. The options are endless!

 

Confidence Challenge #3: BODY/APPEARANCE CONFIDENCE

Idea: Empower yourself by reclaiming your physical “flaw”. Flip it around… it’s not actually a flaw, it’s just part of our bodies! We all have them. These “imperfections” don’t divide us, but instead bring us together.

 

Confidence Challenge #4: CONFIDENCE THROUGH CONNECTION

Idea: It’s important to build confidence on your own, but sometimes connections with others is the extra push we need. Find a new way to connect with people, or connect with people that you haven’t talked to in awhile/want to reach out to. For example: call a friend you haven’t heard from in awhile, DM or email someone that you admire, ask someone (coworker, someone you admire, a friend of a friend) out to coffee, host a meet up, invite someone you want to get to know better to a workout class.
